名塩には、ちょっと変わった道路標識があります。

“The Seven Wonders of Najio”

There is a little unusual road sign in Najio.

ひらがなの”み”に見えませんか？

この丸い箇所は、大西ループ橋という、かなり急なスピンカーブになっています。

Does it look like “み”（mi）in Hiragana?

The round part has a fairly sharp curve called “Onishi Loop Bridge”.

さらにちょっと？なのが、右方向。　何の表示もありません。　右へ行くと、どこへ向かうのか分かりませんよね？

右手は、名塩山荘という住宅地ですが、この標識は、国道用なので、ローカルな地名は表示できないそうです。

The part that you don’t understand further is on the right. Nothing is showning on it. You aren’t sure where to go when you go to the right, aren’t you?

The right side is “Najio-Sanso”, the local residential area, but it is not displayed on it because it is a national highway sign. Some name of places are not displayed according to the rules of the national highway sign.
