Nishinomiya-Najio is a city surrounded by mountains and valleys.

It can be said that Najio-washi, the Japanese paper is made by the best use of blessing of the area.

The topography of Najio’s urban development is utilized.

JR西宮名塩駅周辺にある、東山台の一角です。　　モダンですね。　その一方、名塩の旧市街は、どこか昭和のおもかげを残しています。

名塩は、最小限の都市開発しかなされていないので、中には、中世から手付かずの自然も残っています。

This is a corner of Higashiyama-Dai, the residential area around the JR Nishinomiya-Najio station. It’s modern, isn’t it? On the other hand, the old town of Najio retains the remnants of the Showa period.

There are some landscapes that have not changed since the Middle Ages in Najio, because the urban development is minimal.
